Allen’s halts production of three fan faves

Fans of lollies are fuming following Allen's announcement of a significant alteration to certain beloved sugary indulgences in the country.

The candy company announced that it will stop making small packages of Red Ripperz, Milkos, and Sherbies. This means that customers will no longer be able to enjoy these candies in the same way as before.

Customers were underwhelmed by Allen's declaration.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! Initially, you remove Cobbers, followed by Bananas, Fantails, and now Red Ripperz, Milkos, and Sherbies," expressed one individual on social media.

"Why are you removing all the enjoyable items?!!! Consider eliminating your awful jelly beans and other inferior products that don't sell. What is the matter with you individuals? I'm utterly astonished, to say the least."

Another person stated: "There will not be any more Allen's candies available in the near future, only subpar alternatives."

"Could you please inform me about the expected availability of individual packs for the Red Ripperz?" inquired a user.

Nestle, the parent company of Allen's, has addressed the worries, making it clear that the production interruption was merely a temporary matter.

A representative from the company stated to news.com.au that bags of Allen's Sherbies, Red Ripperz Sticks, and Milkos have not been permanently discontinued. Instead, they are temporarily on hold while we complete the establishment of our new manufacturing facility at our Allen's factory in Broadford, Victoria.

"We're putting in a lot of effort to restock them individually on the shelves as soon as we can, but the great thing is that candy aficionados can still get their hands on Sherbies, Red Ripperz, and Milko chews by purchasing the Allen's Chew Mix."

"We will make sure to provide our fans with timely updates on our Allen's Facebook page regarding the re-release of individual bags."

Following the departure of another much-loved product from the market, Allen’s recently declared that Fantales, a popular fan choice, would be ceasing production after nearly one hundred years.

The choice was influenced by a decrease in sales of the chocolate-coated caramels – renowned for the celebrity tales showcased on the wrapping paper – and the requirement for substantial and costly improvements to produce the confectionery at Nestle's confectionery plant in Melbourne.

Even though certain customers may have to wait for their preferred candies to be available in individual packaging, the brand continues to introduce fresh varieties of sweets.

On Tuesday, Allen's made an announcement stating that Party Dawgs, deliciously fruity lollipops shaped like dogs, would be launched exclusively at Coles.
