Insta Back Online After Global Outage

Instagram had a global outage today, causing error messages for many users.

The system went down for over an hour, starting at 8:20am (AEST), and impacted people all over the globe. Eventually, everything returned to normal.

Instagram didn't give any explanation for the outage. They also didn't say how many people had trouble using it.

Meta owns Facebook and it wasn't affected by the outage.

Lots of people went to other platforms to see if Facebook and Instagram were still down. Twitter was working fine.

Instagram is more than just a photo-sharing platform. Many use it as a messaging service. Businesses worldwide also use it.

Instagram said sorry for their outages worldwide.

A power cut happened in March. It took a few hours to fix it.
