A judge gave permission for prosecutors to send documents to Elon Musk through Tesla. This is part of a lawsuit to hold JPMorgan Chase responsible for Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.

A judge in the US granted prosecutors' request to serve a subpoena to Elon Musk through Tesla. The prosecutors were not able to find Musk or his registered agent.

Nobody has said that Musk did bad things with Epstein, who killed himself in prison while waiting for trial on sex trafficking charges in 2019.

The US Virgin Islands thinks that Epstein could have told Musk to contact JPMorgan. The subpoena wants any proof of talks with Epstein.

Musk said the subpoena was "idiotic." He said the person who gave it "never advised" him.

A judge said US Virgin Islands prosecutors can tell Elon Musk through Tesla to provide documents for an Epstein case.

No one has accused Musk of any bad behavior concerning Epstein in public, but Epstein talked about advising Musk before he died in 2019.

JPMorgan got sued by the Virgin Islands. Epstein had an estate on a private island there. The lawsuit accused the bank of ignoring Epstein's crimes.

The bank is being sued for helping Epstein's recruiters pay victims. The lawsuit claims the bank played a crucial role in hiding the trafficking operation.

JPMorgan said the allegations are without merit. The bank claims it didn't know about Epstein's sex trafficking. They said this in court filings.

The bank is blaming Jes Staley, a former JPMorgan executive, for any involvement with Epstein. Court filings show that Staley and Epstein were close friends and he described their friendship as "profound."

Staley is 66 years old. He worked for JPMorgan and led the asset management business from 2001-2009. He also led the corporate and investment bank from 2009-2013. After that, he was the CEO of Barclays Plc for six years.

JPMorgan is taking legal action against Staley. They want him to pay for the losses in two lawsuits. JPMorgan also wants Staley to give up eight years of pay.

Staley said he didn't do anything wrong. He asked Judge Rakoff to get rid of the case against him. He accused JPMorgan of blaming him to make themselves look better. They messed up when working with Epstein.

JPMorgan tried to blame ex-executive Jes Staley in court documents. Staley was close with Epstein and called their friendship "profound." The bank blamed him for any wrongdoing related to Epstein. The court filing was trying to dismiss a lawsuit against JPMorgan.

. Jaime Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan, will be questioned in court on May 26. JPMorgan says the lawsuit is not valid and that they didn't know about Epstein's wrongdoing.

In August 2019, Epstein passed away at 66 in a New York City jail. The medical examiner said it was suicide. He was waiting for trial for federal sex trafficking allegations.

The Virgin Islands asked Musk for documents about Epstein's human trafficking and procurement of girls or women for sex. They did this in a subpoena.

The subpoena asked for any talks about Epstein between the entrepreneur and JPMorgan, plus between Musk and Epstein. It also asked for documents showing expenses Musk had paid to Epstein, or to JPMorgan in relation to Epstein.

Musk, Larry Page and Sergey Brin got subpoenas from Virgin Islands prosecutors. Michael Ovitz, an ex-exec at Disney, and Thomas Pritkzer, a rich hotel owner, also received subpoenas.

The CEO of JPMorgan, Jaime Dimon, will be questioned in the lawsuit on May 26.

Ghislaine Maxwell's partner was sentenced to 20 years in jail in June 2022. She is staying at the FCI Tallahassee prison in Florida.

. Musk said he did not know Ghislaine Maxwell in 2020. A photo from 2014 was released showing them together. People were suspicious of Musk's association with Maxwell. Maxwell is currently under investigation for being involved in Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking ring. Musk has denied any involvement in Epstein's actions.

At a Vanity Fair party in 2014, Musk and Maxwell were seen together. However, Musk said he didn't know Maxwell and that she had only 'photobombed' him.

"In July 2020, he tweeted, 'I don't know Ghislaine. The real question is why did VF invite her?'"

The New York Times said a witness heard Maxwell ask Musk about how to delete yourself off the internet.

She suggested that Musk should 'destroy the internet.' But Musk didn't agree to it.
