This product recall impacts Cerato cars of the YD generation, Sportage vehicles of the SL generation, and Sorento models of the XM generation that were manufactured between 2011 and 2015.

The company stated in its recall announcement that if the vehicles are operated without undergoing regular inspections, the engine might produce unusual sounds and could possibly become stuck.

This could potentially lead to an abrupt decrease in driving force and/or an automobile ignition.
