This recall impacts the Sorento models made in 2022.

The company stated in its recall notification that the turn signals might not light up as planned due to a software problem.

If the signals indicating a change of direction fail to light up properly, it would be difficult for other drivers to know if the vehicle is turning. This could greatly elevate the chances of an accident occurring, resulting in severe harm or even the loss of lives of both the people inside the vehicle and other drivers on the road.

If you have a car that is impacted, it is recommended to get in touch with your preferred Kia dealership as soon as possible to arrange a meeting for upgrading the software of the multi-function switch, at no cost to you.

If you have any additional inquiries, feel free to reach out to the Kia Customer Service at 131 542.
