Kia remains tight-lipped about the details surrounding the exclusive release set to grace The Quail event at the Monterey Car Week. Rumor has it that this particular edition will have a production limit of a mere 1,000 units, spread out across the globe. The renowned South Korean automaker assures customers that they can anticipate distinctive choices for both the interior and exterior colors, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind style-focused experience.

The preview released by Kia undeniably verifies the "distinct exterior hue." The vehicle is presented in a green shade with a captivating surface. It remains uncertain whether this effect is a result of the pixelated image rendering the car appearing ordinary green in dim lighting, or if there is genuinely something extraordinary about the green coating.

The Kia EV6 has just been crowned as the "2023 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year," which means that the upcoming special edition could potentially serve as a respectful homage to this remarkable achievement.

According to reports, the exclusive bundle will supposedly include shiny black details on the car's exterior, along with a distinctive interior in a sandy beige tone. It will also feature distinctive emblems that confirm its status as a unique edition of the electric vehicle, potentially rooted in the GT-Line model.

We'll need to be patient until August 18 to acquire further information. That's the designated day on which Kia intends to reveal all the details regarding the unique variant EV6, and you can catch the live broadcast right here.

There are six different varieties of the EV6 on offer. The series commences with the Light model, which is equipped with rear-wheel drive. The lineup also includes the Wind model, which is available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options, as well as the GT-Line version with the same drivetrain options. Finally, the cream of the crop is the GT model.

The latter refers to the most formidable car ever manufactured by Kia. It boasts an impressive power output of 577 horsepower (585 PS) and a torque of 740 Nm, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 3.5 seconds. Its top speed reaches an impressive 162 mph (260 kph). Additionally, the EV6 possesses a 77.4-kWh battery, providing a range of up to 224 miles (360 kilometers) before requiring a recharge. However, Kia is currently developing a version of the vehicle that will surpass the 600-horsepower threshold, signaling the imminent end of the EV6's reign as the ultimate powerhouse.

The car manufacturer from Asia will also introduce the EV9 crossover with three rows of seating in Monterey. This particular model made its debut in New York earlier in the year and is expected to be available for delivery in the last quarter of 2023. The underpinning structure of the model is based on the E-GMP architecture.

The series starts with the edition featuring a solitary engine positioned at the back, which produces 215 horsepower (equivalent to 218 PS) and is coupled with a 76.1-kWh battery unit. Customers can also opt for the variant equipped with a 99.8-kWh battery.

Located at the opposing side of the range rests the variant equipped with two motors for enhanced power and an all-wheel drive system, boasting an impressive 379 horsepower (384 PS).
