New Engines And Added Luxury For Range Rover
Range Rover is now a brand, not just a model. They have a new option. It's 24ct gold badges. They revealed the refreshed line-up today.
The new version of the 4x4 icon is focusing on more luxurious features. This move leads to it becoming even more upmarket. It also solidifies its position under the JLR umbrella, which was announced recently.
You can personalize your SV and Autobiography models with a bespoke commissioning service. There are a lot of customization options available. No two Range Rovers have to be the same.
Want a customized Range Rover? Tick the SV Bespoke box on your order form. You'll get a fancy invitation to a commissioning suite where you can choose from 230 colours, 391 internal colourways, and many materials and finishes. You can also add hand-crafted details like embroidery and gold badges. Don't like those options? You can use a paint-to-sample service to pick any colour you want!
Range Rover offers highly personalized results that are unique to the owner. They inscribe the owner's name into the illuminated treadplates. This service is similar to what other luxury car brands, such as Bentley and Rolls-Royce, offer their customers.
The new Range Rover doesn't focus on its mechanical parts. It's still new and the all-electric model isn't coming out for another year. However, there have been some changes to the body. The 2024 model has more power and performance and is more efficient. It also has a better range for electric-only running.
The two six-cylinder plug-in hybrid variants are the most benefited. The new 160kW electric motor is bigger and gives them more power. They now have total system power of 510PS (380kW) or 460PS (343kW). This is about 10% more power. The more powerful variant can now go from 0 to 62mph in just 5.0 seconds.
The CO2 emissions of this car are now only 16g/km. The electric range has increased slightly to 74 miles. The long-wheelbase SV model now has this powertrain available. This is the first time it's been offered.
Car enthusiasts can still choose the V8. It has been upgraded with a mild hybrid system, increasing power to 615PS (459 kW). This also helps improve overall efficiency.
What else is new? The Range Rover Sport has anti-body-roll actuators and improved adaptive cruise control for city and off-road driving. Even when exploring the middle of nowhere, this Range Rover allows cruise control operation.
How much does it cost? The recommended prices start at £103,720. If you want something customized, it'll be more expensive. The bespoke price is expensive, and if you need to ask about it, you probably can't pay for it. The gold badges aren't cheap.
