According to a report by Counterpoint, electric vehicle (EV) sales for passengers worldwide have experienced a 32% year-on-year growth in Q1 2023. This growth can be attributed to the increasing global demand for greener power alternatives and EVs as a result.

Around 14% of all passenger vehicles sold worldwide in the last three months were electric, meaning that 1 out of every 7 cars sold during that time was powered by electricity.
